Will this build work well for minor gaming and casual work?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz
MOBO: MSI 970A-G46 AM3+
GPU: PMD1GD5 Radeon HD 7770
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 X 2GB) 240-Pin

PSU:PSU- HX 750

The games I have and will buy/download are Dead Space 3, Battlefield 3, Terraria, GhostRecon Online, Mabinogi, RPGmaker games, DayZ, Resident Evil 6, MineCraft, Gary's Mod.
Aside from gaming, I would be using Excel, Word, Firefox.

  1. I don't see any hard drive or DVD, the system is fine for work and internet surfing. The VGA card is a little weak you'll have to turn the game settings down to be able to game.

So I agree that the gpu is a little weak but passable. Also 8gb of ram would be recommended but again 4gb is passable. Finally do not get an MSI 970 mobo they are low quality. MSI is making better boards now but the 970 chipset are not particularly good. Look to Asrock for budget or asus for top of the line. Gigabyte makes good mid range boards next to msi
