Hello friends, I'm planning to buy my first gaming console. But I'm confused which one will be good for me? I love playing games and I want one with extremely realistic graphics not old ones. So help me.. My budget is 600$ or do you think I can build a better graphics PC with that money. Please help!!

have you taken a look at the videos reviewing these consoles and the games they play? They all look fantastic, we've left the "old" graphics realm for more than a decade now, anything that runs on the PS3 will already look amazing.

that being said, if you have a budget of 600 bucks go for a PS4, once they're in stock again a bundle will cost maybe 400-450 bucks at your local target/walmart/best buy/random store. Then you'll still have 150-200 left to get a bunch of games (or save up for upcoming games, some of which look amazing like Watch Dogs, Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Final Fantasy 15, etc)

If you build a PC you can get a nice mid ranged PC for 600 bucks, but that requires some things that you may or may not already have...

If you build a PC you can get a nice mid ranged PC for 600 bucks, but that requires some things that you may or may not already have like a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset/speakers, all of which take quality money away from the actual PC itself, so you'll be left with something that won't run the latest and greatest games. And you certainly won't be able to play those console exclusives (not a problem for some people)

If you just want to game, then a console is the way to go, I recommend a PS4 but both it and the Xbox One are fantastic.

If you're going console, out of the ps4 and xbox one, like lmaonade, my vote goes for the ps4.

It's more powerful graphics wise (whether or not developers will optimize games for it as opposed to the xbox one is a different story) and to me the xbox kenect is gimmicky and I could care less for it (which you're forced to get as its bundled with the console).

^^ actually the Playstation Eye doesnt come with most PS4 bundles but the microsoft kenect last I checked came with pretty much all xbox one bundles (although I know some people are complaining but it may or may not change. Microsoft says it considers it as part of the xbox one's normal operations.)

Although I've only looked at the ps4 at a few places like amazon, newegg, toys r us, best buy and I haven't seen it bundled with the eye. A friend recently got the launch edition which was $399 and was just the console and one controller, no eye.

Yea microsoft has been getting flack for it. Also analysts saying that the xbox one won't out sell the ps4 solely because the xbox is retailing $100 more because of the kenect. They are suggesting microsoft drop it to complete on a price point.

But microsoft wants the xbox to be treated like an entertainment center and for people to use the kenect to turn the system on and use the picture in picture features and control their tv's with it. But its a gimmick, a remote has worked fine for me. Also its voice commands arent 100% accurate which sounds like a hassle if I have to yell at my console several times to tell it which game to start. I can just use the controller and idk press one button lol.

Sony announced that ps4 sold 4.2 million units so far so its definitly outselling xbox.
