GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 280X OC 1070MHZ 3GB 6.4GHZ GDDR5
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor

On the Asus website the power consumption says up to 300W. However I am planning on overclocking both of these.

CPU to 4.4GHz
GPU to 1170MHz

What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Solution
1st, that's a good solid power supply!!!

Rule of thumb:
- 200watts for the system
- 300watts Rated for the GPU (in reality they are ONLY drawing a bit over 200watts continuous power..)

So, I would run the CPU at stock clocks and you'll be fine.

If you push a hard OC, you may find your system becomes unstable at a frequency the "Should be Easy..." due to you limited powersupply
