So recently I had to change my CMOS. As the OS was running dreadfully slow.

So of course the first time I boot I get the message asking me to set the time settings due to the reset. It saved started up correctly and worked fine.
I shut it down correctly and it booted fine the next time I started it.
The time after that it asked for the BIOS to be set again. Okay so I did.

During the next day when wasn't using my PC my electric meter ran out. When I booted I half expected the BIOS to ask for settings again. It didn't

This time however it has asked.
I'm not wanting to have to input my bios settings each time I use my pc.

Incidentally, my specs are
Foxconn G31MX Series
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 09/17/2009

Feel free to ask any questions.

I'm not meaning to sound like a jerk. I buy pc batteries from a pc store and find they are often dead. I find I buy the same battery but duracell from shoppers drug mart and it has those peel off stickers (to help keep it charged), and it works fine.
