Hi everyone,

I am the new owner of a new Acer laptop, an "Ultrathin" Aspire V5-552PG-X469 (which is identical in specifications to the V5-552PG-X809 that is advertised more and seen in more online stores)... the processor is the AMD A10-5757M and the graphics as advertised is the AMD Radeon 8750M ... now the sticker on the laptop right next to the "AMD 10 Elite Quad-Core" sticker is a sticker that reads "RADEON Dual Graphics HD 8750M" ...

So when you go into the device manager and look into the Display Adapters, there is two lines, one line is called "AMD Radeon HD 8650G + 8750M Dual Graphics" and then another that says AMD Radeon HD 8750M below it.

SO I am not an expert at this. Do I actually have an 8750M, an 8650G, or actually both? And I have read a bit about the AMD Crossfire thing with two AMD GPUs, can I do that? (Do I want to do that, I guess, should also be a question I am asking).

I know I don't have the most powerful nor best/biggest/show-off'able system but in my opinion I got a very very good deal on a very nice, decent-to-decent-plus system and am happy very happy. but could certainly use some tips or background info about these graphics card(s) and the Crossfire system. Thanks much for all help.

To take advantage of AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics, you must use a compatible AMD A-Series APU to pair with your supported AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 Series card. After installation of your graphics card, install the latest AMD graphics drivers. After driver installation, the option to enable AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics should become available in the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.

Once installed, go into the “Performance” section of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center and check the box that says 'Enable Crossfire™' - this will allow the AMD A-Series APU graphics to work in tandem with the select AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 Series GPU installed for increased graphics...

Just a heads up the AMD Radeon HD 8650G is an integrated graphics unit which is found within your processor, the 8750M is your dedicated video card. So yes you have both, but you don't have two separate video cards :)

Thank you very much... When I went to the AMD Vision control center, I went to performance. There was an already-checked box that says "Enable AMD Radeon Dual Graphics" ... so I guess it's already on. (Note there is no box saying anything about Crossfire but maybe this is the equivalent for my computer or whatever?)

So anyway I wanted to say thanks, very much for your help!
