is it true that using a cm v8 gts on your mobo increases the risk of cracking your board since the v8 gts will be putting alot of weight on the board?

To be honest for that price you can get a closed loop liquid cooling system that you don't have to worry about cracking your board with for the same price as that cooler. Actually almost half the price. Why risk it?

I've used a few real big air coolers and have never cracked a board.

im not really into liquid cooling but would like to try it as well in the future, and i think liquid cooling is mainly for overclockers and i dont plan on ocing, would a cm hyper 212 evo be a better choice than the v8 gts?

If your not overclocking it's a great choice.

i like the dual fan setup of the v8 gts, will it be also a good choice if i'll put a 2nd fan on the hyper 212 evo? will it give better cooling the a single fan setup?

A 2nd Fan on the EVO doesn't improve performance.

Its of course your decision in the end, but really for the price a of a water cooling its almost dumb to go with a fan cooler. For one its 10 times quieter, and gives 10 times more cooling. To each his own!!!
