Where do i connect the molex from a fan controller?

I want to know where i would plug the molex from a built in fan controller from a nzxt phantom. Do i need a converter from molex to 8 pin so i can plug it into the psu?

no you just plug it into any spare Molex power plug from your power supply.
no need to have a dedicated rail or 8 pin connector, fan's are only light when it comes to power draw.

plug a molex from your power supply into the molex on the fan controller. That's what gives power to all the fans
