Why does my computer only start if I switch the l/O switch

I plugged in everything correctly but when I flip the l/O switch it powers up for a millisecond then turns off please help!!

Here are my specs
Asus M5A78L-M/Usb3 motherboard
CPU- AMD FX4130
8GB rip jaws ram
WD blue 1TB hard drive
INLAND 500 watt power supply

Are you talking the I/O switch on the PSU or the case?

it could be you have the CPU fan plugged into the wrong connector or not connected at all.

Agreed. Check the CPU fan connector and make sure its plugged in the correct slot on your motherboard. It's either that or you have a bad PSU.

+1 to possible PSU issue,

it doesn't look like a quality brand of psu you have there.
