(I'm technologically challenged so I apologize in advance for the improper terminology)
I have an integrated graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics
I have a low end computer: HP Pavilion p2-1033w
There are only two outputs on the back, 1 VGA and 1 DVI-D. The VGA is the source for my main monitor and works fine. My second monitor has only VGA input so I got a DVI-D -> VGA adaptor. I plugged everything in and restarted the system, but the second monitor read no input signal VGA, no input signal DVI. My computer only detects the first monitor. Is it an active adaptor issue? If so, what can I get that works? Or do I need a new graphics card?
Thank you!
