Hey everyone,
I was thinking of adding another one for SLI mainly for games like Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, and Metro 2033. I also play a lot of Just Cause 2 and GTA 4--and 5 when it comes out ;)
First, would SLI work properly for these games,? Software-wise, would it give good scaling and have very little microstuttering?
Second, is it feasible? I know that my motherboard's PCI-E x16 slots are really close together (only one slot between them, so the cards would be right up against each other). I've heard something about Twin Frozr cards exhausting heat back into the case, so would it be a bad idea to put two so close together? If so, is it possible to SLI, say, an EVGA reference design with the MSI? (I put my system specs and case setup at the bottom)
Finally, how much wattage and what power supply would you recommend? Right now, I have an OCZ 550w, which I know won't be enough for SLI...

I have an Asus p6t (regular) X58 board with an i7-930 @3.9GHz (Hyper 212+ cooler, one 120mm fan). My case is an Antec 600 with 2 120mm intake fans at the front (3 speed, 40-80 cfm), a side 120mm fan (2 speed, 40/70 cfm, it's the one that came with the case), a rear 120mm fan (3 speed, 40-80 cfm), and a top 200mm fan (no clue).

Thanks!

It is possible to use two different brand of GPUs as long as they are in fact the same chipset (660 with a 660, it won't work as 660 with a 660 ti).

You are correct in that your PSU won't support SLI.

I would either upgrade (well, I would still upgrade as OCZ isn't a great manufacturer of PSUs, and the are bankrupt) your PSU, and get a strong single card such as a 770.
