I want to upgrade from a 9800gt to HD 7770 because with my curent gpu my PC freezes after 30-60min while I play Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and CoD4mp on medium/high/ultra

my specs:
Intel DP35DP
Intel Core2Quad Q9400 @ 2.66Ghz
Nvidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB 256bit GDDR3
4GB of ddr2 ram (2x1gb and 1x2gb, each being Kingston and works on 800Mhz)
Western Digital Caviar Green 640Gb
Ankermann 600W

Since the mobo DP35DP has 1 pci-e slot x16 gen 2 and HD 7770 needs only 75-80W and one 6 pin connector , it should work .i cant find the exact psu , to tell if it has 6 pin connector but i think it should have .tell more info .

yes it has 6-pin. but I just noticed that the size of the gpu I want to buy is massive, wouldn't fit in the motherboard.

the motherboard is ATX , so the chances are high .
see the dimensions and check .
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121748
for this card : 9.3" x 5.5" x 1.7"
i see the fan there !
if it is not fitting there are other short cards hd 7770 like this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687
but it has no crossfire support

which is the exact card ?
