I have tried 3 times to restore factory settings on my Aspire one 722 without a disc. It goes fine till it starts installing Office, then it stops at 22/38 and stays there without changing for hrs. ( 6+). What can I do???
Sounds like the HD could be dying. Since you're restoring without a disc, I would assume it's coming from the recovery partition and either it has a hard time writing to the HD, or reading from the recovery partition.

Thanks for your response, does it matter that the laptop is only a little over a year old? And how do I fix that problem?
