is my cooler working right?

Hi, i've just installed a CM hyper 212 evo for my fx 6300. According to speedfan my cpu temp was around 60 with the stock cooler and around 55 with the evo when playing games. I was just wondering if this is a normal difference to see for a cooler that has received so much praise.

Dear Okatashin,

Well I'm not sure why you can't get an RPM reading. If the fan is spinning at its slowest speed then your temps will be higher. The fan will increase up to 2000rpm so this why i was trying to figure out what RPM the fan is currently at since you posted your temps above.

it seems a bit quieter but with 5 fans and no fan controller it's never gonna be too quiet and while i did pay £26 for it the hype and reviews were matching it at coolers twice the cost, even in tests.
