Hello recently I have been having wifi issues in my household, to give a breakdown of devices we have connected to the wifi, we have 3 smart tvs and one desktop computer, some other devices which are not always connected are 2 smartphones, 1 tablet, and 2 laptops. So recently with getting the new desktop and additional smart tvs my brother has had problems with watching netflix on the smart tv's, he used to use a wii to watch netflix and that always worked fine but recently he has to wait for load times and many times netflix will not connect. I tested our download speed and consistently got 3.6 Mbps, should this be good enough for our requirements? I was also wondering would a better router help, we only have the basic router.

Thank you very much in advance

Solution
3.6 Mbps is not really good enough for NetFlix when several other devices are accessing the internet at the same time. If you were to disconnect everything else I dare say your brother would have no problem with NetFlix, although I realise that's not always practical .

Buying a new router will not improve your bandwidth of 3.6 Mbps. That's determined by your internet service provider and your geographical location, and possibly the level of service you are paying for.
