Hello, I recently bought a new 1TB hard drive (Thanks to the Tom'sHardware community for telling me whether or not it was compatible). It arrived earlier today and I am trying to initiate it. I went to
Computer Management>Disk Management and I rick clicked Disk 0 since it is Unknown and not initialized yet.
It gives me the option to use the partition styles of MBR or GPT. Problem is, I don't know what either of them are. I am going to use this hard drive mainly for my steam games since my 500GB hard drive has now run out of space because of my games.
I just want to use this hard drive as a second hard drive and not the main one. Please tell me what both of them are, their uses, and which one would be best for me given my information provided.

Thanks in advanced :D
