I have had an I Mac for 4 years now, and i thought it was time for a huge change of pace.

I'm ordering from Pc Case Gear.

This Mac i am currently using was $1670 and it can hardly run Borderlands on low.

I would like to overclock this system.

Here's the specs.

Case: Silverstone SG09 Black Case USB 3.0

Motherboard: ASRock Z87M Extreme 4 Motherboard

Cpu: Intel Core i5 4670K

Cpu Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler

Ram: G.Skill Ares F3-1866C9D-8GAB 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Edition 4GB Splinter Cell

Storage: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX (I will invest in an SSD Later)

Monitor: ASUS VX238H 23in Widescreen LED Monitor

Psu: Silverstone Strider Plus 600W ST60F-P

That's all.

Grand total: $1550 AUD

I have a few questions.

Will this thing overclock?

If i can overclock how much would you recommend?

Will it be loud?

Will i have any problems putting it together?

How will this system perform?

Solution
Good build, should OC fine, with a 4670K should be able to go 4.4 - 4.5 or more, shouldn't be loud, if to loud are looking at possible case fan changes, the Hyper 212 EVO isn't very loud, not hard to put a rig together my kids were 5 and 7 when they started building, and I trusted them to do builds on their own, this rig should run anything you want to run gamewise and perform extremely well with most any commercial software programs
