A few years ago I purchased a ZT system. It has an ASUS M2M-MX SE Plus motherboard with an AMD Athlon 4400 processor. Im guessing it has 4mb in ram. It needs a power supply, Hard drive, and fan for the heat sink, although I already have the heat sink (Fan just broke off). I want to teach my son how to build a computer so I am not looking to spend a ton of cash here... The video card is a geforce 210 ddr2 Its a Micro ATX case and it does have a cdrom.
I purchased a used Western Digital hard drive from ebay earlier today for about 25.00 bucks..
The reason we quit using it was because after a while it would cut off.. I assumed it was the power supply.
Whats the most I can do for this while budgeting my cash? I would like to spend under a 100 to get up and running.. I found a new micro atx case with a power supply on amazon for 50.00 but have not purchased it. Can I buy a new fan to clip onto that heat sink?
We play starcraft 2, and he plays mine craft as well as games online.
