Hello community!

I recently dropped my computer damaging the LCD display. However it is only on the upper left corner and edges about 3 centimeters into the screen, blocking off parts of my desktop. Is there a way to change screen area, crop so to speak, my monitor so the sides are just black bars? Not the best solution, but I do not have time to hand in my screen for replacement at this time!

Thank you!

Kind of, but only if you use a VGA connection. Then you can play with horizontal & vertical position and size.

You could try setting a square-ish custom resolution in your display driver and hope that your monitor doesn't try to stretch that across the screen.

This seems to work for now, not my personal choice but thanks!
