1156 socket question (ram)

I currently have an i5 670 dual core cpu...I was wondering if there is a cpu I can put in this socket that will function with ram above 1333mhz. This pc is my first gaming pc and want to get everything I can out of it...I wouldn't mind a cpu / ram upgrade if I can get faster ram.

I don't think you can get more than 1333 mHz on any socket 1156 CPU. I think you would have to OC them to get more speed, but I don't think that is worth the effort. Intel's latest CPU's generally only support up to 1600 mHz and they work just fine, so I'm not sure why you need faster RAM.

mobo can handle up to 2133, but research on the processor says its limited to 1333...I was just wondering if there was a cpu I could upgrade to in an 1156 socket that supports >1333

Well I have 4x1 gigs of ram (4g total)...I wanted to get two 4's to get 8 total and if I was able to up the speed on the ram, id like to do that.
