Can I replace my Radeon HD 7660d with a Radeon HD 7750

So I got an AMD A10-5700 (4 CPUs) 3.4 GHz a few months back with an integrated Radeon HD 7660D and I want to upgrade my video/graphics card. I was looking into graphics cards and found a Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5, I checked it out and it seemed pretty good. I want to be able to play games at mostly high settings and maybe medium settings at 1280x1080, I found the Radeon 7750 on sale for $110. I want to get it but I don't know much about computers so I don't know if it will bottleneck my CPU, if my motherboard doesn't have a good enough PSU or if its not compatible with my PC. Will I be able to use this graphics card, will there be a significant performance change and is it worth it? I don't know my computers power supply but I know the Radeon 7750 requires 400 Watts, will that be a problem?

Specs:

CPU: AMD A10-5700 (4 CPUs) 3.4 GHz
RAM:10 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7660D

Let me know if there will be any problems that I can possibly run into and leave suggestions as well please.

Thank you!

the 7660d is built into the trinity chip on your amd a10, you cant remove it. you have an apu. your pcie16x lane is unused at the moment. your power supply will have no problem pushing the power to the motherboard to supply the max pcie16x wattage... im assuming this is a prebuilt computer like an hp or a dell.... and they wouldnt make a computer that cant at least supply the pcie lane. the 7750 gets all its power from the pcie lane, it is a go to card for stock computers like yours. your a10 is only pulling maybe 125w max when stress testing so you will have a lot of head room.

here is a test bed for the 7750 showing total system power draw usuing an older amd a8 llano chip that uses more power than your a10 trinity chip...

I found out the power supply, an it happens to be 300W so I guess that means it wont work. Would it still work or would it like, fry my computer? Should I get it or not?

Also I figured out that my CPU (AMD A10-5700 3.4 GHz) uses only 65 Watts maximum, so doesn't it mean if with my fans, CPU and everything it will at most be 150 Watts in total still leaving 150 W left. And it probably takes way less than 150 W of my PSU anyways. The Radeon HD 7750 physically only takes 75 W (I'm not sure if its exactly 75 but its around there) and if that's the case there is still a lot of room after that.
So wont it work?

From the AMD website (AMD HD 7750):

■400W (or greater) power supply recommended.
■500W power supply (or greater) recommended for AMD CrossFire™ technology ◦NOTE: Minimum recommended system power supply wattage is based on the specific graphics card and the typical power requirements of other system components. Your system may require more or less power. OEM and other pre-assembled PCs may have different power requirements.

■Certified power supplies are recommended. Refer to http://ati.amd.com/certifiedPSU for a list of Certified products

Thanks for your advice! The problem is I live in Canada so I cant really find 7750s for $65, but im gonna wait for a big sale like you said because your right $110 is quite a bit of cash. Again thanks a lot for your detailed explanation!

ncix.ca has all sorts of deals... heres a 7750 for 85cad after rebate.

what is the model of your computer? is it a skinny computer case or a full size computer case? if you have one of those skinny ones you might not be able to fit a video card inside of it. knowing the manufacture and looking at their specs will give you a length and width maximum that the pcie16x lane can accommodate.

Thanks for the link! I'm almost 100% sure that my case isn't skinny, because it honestly looks more wide than skinny. I have seen those skinny cases before online and I'm sure my case isn't like that. So I'm pretty sure its wide enough to fit a graphics card. Thanks for your help!

Also, it says that its $85 after mail in rebate (mir), what does that mean and how do I apply to my checkout order?

there is a link there to the rebate form. it has all the instructions in it. you will pay the full listed price now and once you get the item you cut off the upc label on the box and mail it to them with the receipt and they will send you a prepaid visa for $15cad. it will take at least 4 weeks and maybe up to 8 weeks for you to get it.

ive done probably about 30 rebate forms over the last few years. others have had problems but they must be fairly uncommon as
i personally have never had a problem with rebates. its up to you.

I was about to get the one you gave me in the link, but when I went through shipping and handling and taxes it ended up being $122.03, with rebate it would be $108.03, so I really might as well buy the $110 one because that is with taxes and everything. Its from best buy, so im guaranteed return if it doesn't work or something. I have been looking all over the web for cheaper prices and I cant find any.
