Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about building a desktop, and will probably do so soon. I've fleshed out a few designs on PCpartpicker and such. I just wanted to post my newest build design on here and see how it fares. For the case I'm debating Azza. I LOVE the look of the new Corsair 760T, and might hold out for that. Purpose will be for gaming and low-end video and photo editing/processing.

Anyway, please provide feedback with what you think. I know OEM may be the smarter idea, but I'm planning on steadily upgrading my parts over the years. There is no large HDD listed, as I have a 3TB Seagate Barracuda I picked up on Black Friday.

EDIT: I have NO IDEA for case fans. Need a lot of help on that.

An i5 is fine for games.
No need for excess thermal paste.
Cheaper board, you should be able to overclock about the same and it has all of the ports and slots you need.
Case is up to you. Personally, I would rather go with the NZXT Phantom over the AZZA case. The 760T also looks like a nice case, if you're willing to wait.
Better quality psu at a cheaper price. It has an extra 100w, is 80+ GOLD instead of Bronze, and it's modular. All while being cheaper than the Corsair.
No need for full version of the OS.

Thanks realchaos! I picked the i7 for future proofing, as I'm hoping this build will last me a long time. Also, a little extra speed always helps with video processing. I did some research for a MOBO, and found the Hero gives a little better power delivery, albeit at the cost of no integrated Wi-Fi. Thanks for the advice on the PSU!

Yeah, that's the key word. "A little". I never said the Z87 Plus is better or anything, but you're overclocks should be roughly the same, give or take 100-200mhz, but the Plus is also $50 cheaper.
The i7 won't really "future-proof". There's no such thing as future proof, as it will always get out-dated. We don't even know if games in the next two-three years will utilize hyper-threading. You're better off buying for the present.
