16gb Ram worth it?

hello first off i will list my build,and was wondering if 8GB ram good enough or should i up it to 16GB?

intel i5 4670<-- didnt get the i5 4670k because i never planned on OC
Ram- 2 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600 MHZ
2 120MM case fans
Hyper 212 Evo Cooling fan
MB- intel z87
Power supply- Corsair 850tx
Graphics- Radeon 7990 6GB
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit

its played everything flawlessly but i was just wondering if it would be a waste to upgrade to 16 GB?

if the system is already built and purchased... then dont worry about it.

if you are going to stay with a stock 4670 and you dont have any of the parts yet then a h87 would save money. however if you already own the z87 then swapping it out is pointless.

Yeah i got a great deal on the 7990 so i couldnt beat that,went with the z87 chipset cuz i was running out of money haha but i was thinking of upgrading here soon.

i do record music so i figured it might help with that?
