BF4 is running at 40-60 fps for me now with a 660ti.
I'm guessing the CPU will bottleneck it then ?
That CPU will NOT bottleneck a 780. You have to remember the main point of the CPU is to prepare the data for the GPU but it's the GPU that then processes that data. OK so the AI etc is run ion the CPU but it's an i7 OC at 3.4. That is a great gaming combo.
Hi, thanks for the post. Do you by any chance have an idea as to what the fps for bf4 med settings would be for this setup ? I have 12 gigs of ram if that's relevant
At medium you'll be well over 60fps at that resolution. But i'm not entirely sure exactly.

At medium settings you WILL be bottlenecked. If 120 FPS is your goal then it's not achievable with a normal 2600, but you can get 70+ all the time without issue.
