Hi guys, having my first gaming rig built, and have researched parts for weeks. I've settled on the following build, but if any experienced builders could please run their eyes over it, and confirm if it is compatible/works well/or doesn't, that would be fantastic, and greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps guys.

Intel Core i5 4670K LGA1150 CPU 3.4Ghz 6Mb Cache Haswell
Asus SABERTOOTH-Z87 4x DDR3 3xPCI-E 1xPCI 8xSATA3 4xUSB3.0
Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Pro
Seagate SATA3 2TB 7200RPM Barracuda 64mb Cache
Samsung 128GB SSD 840BW Pro SATA3 2.5
Gigabyte GTX 770 OC EDITION PCI-E 3.0 4GB
LiteON IHAS524 SATA DVD-RW 24X Black (Cheap, basic DVD writer)
Corsair Obsidian 650D Black Mid Tower Case with Window
Corsair RM-850 ATX PSU 80 Plus Gold Full Modular

Ok if you are running a 1440 monitor and or a second tv as a monitor the 4gb 770 is a good buy and sli would be a good idea in the future if performance drops below what you are happy with. I was going to just recommend the 2gb version but you have the right one. Also good choice on a CPU cooler and I agree it would be easiest to install it now but it's certainly not necessary until you are ready to overclock.
Looks great it is all compatible I would just say that for gaming typically more than 8gb of ram isn't necessary and you could upgrade another part with the money. That being said if you want to do any video editing as well as gaming the ram you have will be nice to keep. What monitor and resolution will you be playing on?

Cheers mate, yeah, my girlfriend will be doing some video stuff, but I'll just be using it for gaming. Will be using a 42" Sony Full HD (1080p) LED TV for now, looking to grab a (smaller) 1440p monitor in the future. Was trying to build something relatively future-proof too, maybe grab another 770 in SLI/crossfire (can't remember which one is NVIDIA), and overclock the CPU once I've done a lot of research on it. Thanks heaps for the answer man.

Thanks man, yeah, made sure to get a 'K' CPU, but am waiting a little while before overclocking, I want to spend a good while researching for my first overclock. However, I've picked out a Noctua NH_D14 for when I do. Absolute beast of a cooler, heard nothing but good things, and (although it's a massive cooler) I've checked that it fits both my case and ram. Know any OC websites or forums of repute? Thanks for the advice mate.
