You say 'how long is it going to last' but do you mean how long before the GPU goes slow and bad or before the games outdate the GPU?

Once 800 series release it will be old, in 2 years if you want to play at higher settings you will upgrade for a faster more efficient card.

it depends on you, if you are no longer happy with it then you will probably upgrade it.
it may be a year or 2. but some people keep their pc parts for more than 3 years.
so it depends on you if playing medium-low is still ok, then it should last a while

lol... only games based ON PC! can hurt the 760... the xbox 720 and ps4 don't have the same graphic power than a 6870... if you buy a 120hz TN monitor you will need another 760 to get yours 120fps. but one 760 its alright for 60 fps game play.

800x600 probably lol. The 760 will be old this time next year. Hell its old now because its just a rebadged 600 card already.

It'll be just fine for 2 years or so, Maxwell should be out in a few months anyway so it'd be a good idea to wait until then, the 760 is essentially a slightly nerfed GTX 670

It's always nice to have realistic expectations, a few years back the GTX 560 and 560 Ti was some hot stuff, compare the performance difference and how they run games compared to the 760 now and you'll have a vague idea as to how the 760 will perform in 2 to 3 years
