With this budget, your build looks fine as it is.

You could go with a GTX 760 instead of the R9 270x, depends on the 270 you're trying to get your hands on.
If you prefer AMD over NVIDIA get the R9 270x Toxic, this card is pretty impressive for its price.

I would also go with 2x4Gb RAM instead of 1x8Gb to put these in dual channel (which will give you a slight performance boost).

Yeah, the R9 270 and the 270x are really up close, but I would still go for the 270x Toxic from Sapphire, they OC it out of the factory and have imho the best cooling solution for a graphics card these days.
