£500 Gaming/Video editing PC, need help.

Hi everyone.

I'm planning on a new PC build this year after my old PC died.
I have about £500 and i'm thinking of getting an AMD 8-Core CPU or the 6-Core CPU.
I'm going to be using the PC to record and edit Sonic Generations, Minecraft and maybe some Garry's Mod. I also do a tiny bit of game development.
I already have a copy of Windows 8.1. I don't think I'd overclock unless it would really help performance and the CPU would die.
Could you guys help me and reccomend some parts ?

Thanks

That build doesn't include a case, I need that too because the case was purchased from me.
All so, hard drive space isn't that important as I allready have a 500 GB HDD.
  3. Take out the hard drive if not needed. Go with the HAF 912, excellent case at that price point.
