So I got two R9 290 graphic cards, a coolermaster 1000w PSU, and asrock fetality killer for motherboard. On MSI afterburner my second graphic card GPU power is going up and down. How do I fix this?

I believe your talking about "GPU Usage"....

It will go up and down based on the game you are playing....... (GPU clocks will also fluctuate based on the load the game is putting on your cards...)

Run a load test like "FurMark" that will max out your GPU usage (although 290's may throttle their GPU clocks as they hit 95C...)

I assume you have the latest drivers for the cards, but other things that I'd also do is make sure you have the latest Bios and Chipset Drivers (both from the motherboard website). Also, if you have an intel multicore CPU (who doesnt) then you can get a utility that will check your registry to check if any of your cores are in a parked state, if they are (and mine were too) then games that have high CPU usage like BF4 can stutter....using the same utility (I can get the name when I'm back at home tonight) you can then unpark them and get full use of all your CPU cores.

It's very very unlikely to be the cause, but if you have another crossfire cable, give it a try, and or PCIe slot. I'd just try it as you never know....also does your MoBo have an LED on it....mine does and AA means everything is good....you can get numbers that can help troubleshoot, some are innocent and some are not.

Hope this helps.
