will hard drive affect gaming

i had an old hdd from 2010 and wanted to know how it would affect the gaming performance like fps on my pc and how much would a better hdd make my gaming experience better - ( hitachi Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K1000.C HDS721032CLA362 (0A39264) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive )

Nah. SSDs and faster HDDs only improve loading times and boot-up times. However, a 320GB one may be too less if you plan to install many heavy games. If that's the case, I'd recommend getting a 500GB one at least if not a 1TB one (You won't save that many $$$ buy opting for a 500GB one than a 1TB one). Hope this helped :)
