DVD plays fine in TV/DVD combo. I insert into laptop to look at file and it can't find anything - just asks if I want to format the disc (DVD) then says it can't. This is the complete opposite of what's supposed to happen - it's supposed to play on the laptop but not play in the DVD player!

Any ideas anyone?

Will other DVDs play on your laptop? Is this a DVD you created yourself or something you purchased?
