PSU making wierd noises on start

When I boot up my pc, that I made 3 weeks ago, I hear a wierd buzzing noise. I also hear this noise when I am Playing a demanding game. The noise is very loud and I can hear it through my headset. I think it is the psu fan, but I am not sure. Is there anything I could to to solve this or just buy a new psu.

Cpu: intel i7 4770k
Gpu: GTX 780
Psu:corsair tx750 (non-modular)
Mobo:asus z87 pro
Ram: 16gb g.skill ripjaws
Cpu cooler: corsair h60
Case: corsair 750d
Hard drive: 1tb wd blue

unmount the psu from your case and check it . cables should be pluged in your system and then start your pc and run a game then check.......

that actually can be buzzing from the coils which is why you hear it thru the headsets it can be very loud

Roll up a paper tube and put it to your ear so you can locate the sound more precisely.

A fan should not make a buzzing sound unless it is being interfered wit by wiring or such.

If the problem is your psu, contact Corsair for a rma.

it is indeed from the psu but it is not the fan, it is probably the buzzing of the coils. Should i be worried about this? Will it damage any of components?

you should do a rma like the ykennos said corsair should give you a relacement because of the noise

definitely go for RMA . cause coils can be dead if it is whining too much....
