Hello,
We have a Buffalo TS-RHTGL/R5 F/W 1.33 (TeraStation Pro) with 4 x 1TB HDD's setup as RAID10.
One of the 1TB drives failed last week, and I ordered a replacement which arrived today. I had hoped that I would just have to add the new HDD and it would build it as required to complete the RAID10 setup, but no such luck...
On the GUI for the TeraStation Pro, there is a disk management station where I can tick a box next to the new disk I've added (the other disks are already ticked, and greyed out so I can't un-tick), and there is a button at the bottom of the screen which says "Restructure RAID Array".
The question really is - has anyone used this feature before?
I'm just worried that i'll accidentally wipe all of the drives...
Is there a better way to build this drive?
Thanks,
Matt.
