Hello,

I want to accomplish a very simple task, install windows on a simple imac(late 2013)

Problem is: No usb or BT kb/mouse recognition: "Boot camp" takes me to a windows install menu (the common one) but cant get me to install a windows to his own created partition, complaining about the format of the partition(bootcamp supposed to format that?) there is a tool that does that in the advanced options...but no use. After formatting through wininstall advanced menu, windows don't like it s own created partition. Just says "cant install to that" (cause it is GPT partition which he does not recognize?)

And as far as the bootcamp's partition was formatted by windows installer, it does not boot that partition in legacy mode and dont let me use mouse or keyboard or any other USB mouse/KB...so that i can navigate the menus...

What else is there ?

looks like there is no way to tell a mac to boot from a partition in "Legacy" mode as far i could find...

anyway, if you want to install a windows to a late 2013 mac through bootcamp, do not plug any usb devices other than the usb disk(the one Bootcamp uses as an install disk).

otherwise, mouse beyboard might not be useable and windows might not get installed to that hard drive even though you have formatted it to NTFS...
