I am having trouble with a pc I am working on. It has 100% cpu usage even after a format with the manufacturers xp disc. I completely erased the HD with this format to start fresh but the problem remains. I check the taskmanager and alot of usage goes to svchost.exe but even if I kill that process it is still as slow as a snail. It has an amd athelon processor and is still exactly the same as when it came out of the box. Could the processor be bad. I am lost. Please help.
