Approximate Purchase Date: February 2014

Budget Range: $1600 - $2000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Video editing (using Premiere Pro, After Effects and Davinci)

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any website with current price

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Cebu City, Philippines

Parts Preferences:
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780 (our local store have this - I want to buy a high-end one so it will just be compatible if I'm planning to buy another one)

Big Bang-XPower II (our local store have this, I was planning to get a ASUS P9X79 Pro, but our local store doesn't have stocks)

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: preferrable FULL HD, I already have a monitor at home so I won't be buying a new one

Additional Comments: I already have keyboard and mouse and speakers, and I will buy DVD or Bluray at a later time, for now, being able to build a budgeted system and use it to finish jobs is important :)

it is my first time to try and build a system and I'm rly confused of what to get. Hopefully I'm not overkilling for the specs, I'm mainly using it to edit and render HD files, making films and videos, maybe a little bit of After Effects and I want to be able to use Davinci without so much problems.

Hopefully it's a system thats upgradeable next year without hurting my pocket too much

Solution
:) youre welcome mate, anything i can help with i will
Yes that processor will not bottleneck the GPU nor will the GPU bottleneck the processor
That Motherboard like i said is very high end and is fantastic
The ram is also very good pick and if u pick it like that u willl have space for more ram kits to be put in in the future
As for the SSD the Samsung 840 EVO series is excellent and will do u fine
A 500gb HDD is a good idea, i would advise 1tb because its a bit more cash and a lot more space, go with any WD HDD that isnt the WD Green, the faster one is the Black version WD black or caviar black
dont worry about incompatibility the only thing that isnt prety much universal is the CPU socket and the ram (if its dual channel, triple...

Take 100 dollars off your budget for a OS; if u are doing a lot of video editing look into getting 16gb of ram and leaving room for upgrade, look into an i5 4670k or an i7 4770k if u want that much of a badass PC
The gtx780 is an excelent choice by the way, even without SLI
Do u have any preference into what is the brand of the CPU? intel or amd? Because Intel are better for high end builds like yours but u can still get a good AMD processor for your budget range
Any other info u can give? good websites arround your area? because all i know is NA and EU websites

I prefer Intel Sir, unfortunately there are no good websites in our area but the local store updates its price according to the current price of popular websites they usually link on this site. Will I be able to fit my budget including the case and cooling with my preferred video card and motherboard?

Yes mate, u can make a very good build for 1000dollars, u should be excellent with your budget
The thing is, i am asking for a reference website because i dont know pricing there
16gb of ram might be 160dollars
That 4670k i reccomended is usually 200-240 dollars but hte 4770k is more expensive
That GPU alone is over 500dollars so without a reference its a bit hard but keep this build in mind:
Motherboard: Z87-Pro (or Z87-A or Z87-deluxe, or MAXIMUS VI Z87 which is very high end)
GPU: GTX 780, like i said its over 500 dollars
CPU: i5 4670k, get an i7 4770k if it can fit your budget after everything adds up
Case: u can get good mid tower cases for arround ~100 dollars, if u want a good full tower case look to be spending maybe 150, look on brands and stuff liek the NZXT Phantom series the Corsairs 200r and 800d series
CPU cooler: Hyper 212 evo plus is good its about 30 dollars
PSU: arround 100dollars for a good quality high wattage PSU
HDD: a 1tb WD black is about 90 dollars, u may want to get a 2tb or 1.5tb one
SSD: Optional if it fits your build after everything, a 120gb one is about 60-90 dollars and its awesome when u can fit one in your budget and put your OS there
Dont think i forgot anything, plz gimme your thoughts

ASUS Maximus VI GENE DDR3 1600 Intel Z87 LGA 1150 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.5 GHZ 8 MB Cache
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory

do you think this a good match with the GPU I chose? Since I'm just worried of incompatibility issues,
I plan to buy a white case like the NZXT and I don't mind spending a lot since I want it to be ready for upgrades
and can you suggest any good for price SSD? I don't mind spending for these and maybe at least 500+gb hard drive for my files

thank you very much you've been srsly helpful! :)
