This is my first time building a gaming computer so I wanted to get some input on the hardware I have picked out before I buy it. If any one can give me some tips or make this setup better I would really appreciate it.

Also not looking to overclock but I would like the option.

Good looking setup to me. Not a big fan of the corsair CX for this type of build, but it will do. SSD would be nice, but would obviously entail more money.

First build period, or first gaming build?

Might want to get a DVD writer.

Also the memory seems expensive, check out this instead.

If you have more money to spend then going up to R9 280X or GTX770 might be worth it.

Do not get 8120, it is the old achitecture and sucks. Otherwise the above looks ok.
FX 8320 is the way to go.

Its my first time building a computer. I have replaced things in a computer like ram and harddrives so I have a little experience but not much.

Thanks to everybody for the suggestions I really appreciate it. It is very intimidating thinking about building a computer from scratch but I am excited to learn. I have one last question. I am thinking of using my 47" tv instead of a monitor is that all right?

Gaming and short term use yeah, but i would generally invest $120-150 for a 1080p monitor at some point.
Generally it makes for much better web page reading for example.

Your largest enemies with TV's are the fuzzy picture and input lag.
