I have a similar laptop and know that the i7-4700MQ needs a cooling pad right away. The cooling pad that gets the most recommendations is probably the Zalman ZM-NC1000 but that seems to be £35, and the one you listed is not bad at all, you can also look at the Cooler Master NotePal U2 and the NotePal X3
