Hello,

I am in the market to buying a new gaming laptop and I need some direction. Here are my interests and needs:

Budget: $1000 - $1500
Use: Stream movies, Download movies, High-end gaming (BF3, BF4, WOW, ESO, AC4, GTA5 (when it comes out on PC) High to ultra settings with 40-60 fps.
Battery life: not important, I'll be taking my charger to campus a lot.
Weight: as long as its not like 10lbs
Durability: important to me.
OS: Pref Win 7 but I can learn to use win 8.

I am probably leaving out more info, so I apologize. Let me know if you need more info. I'm more concerned about performance than I am on portability.

Right now, I got my eyes on the Lenovo Ideapad Y510p: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834313584&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6154049&SID=t3rwzv7u6i0y

Thoughts?

Thanks

The y510p is IMO the best laptop there is for that price at the moment, if you get it through the lenovo website you can customise it but the 8GB RAM and GTX750M SLI will be enough for at least high settings on BF4 but if you have an extra $500 you might as well upgrade what you can.

EDIT: Just checked Lenovo website, you can upgrade the GTX750M SLI to 755 SLI for an extra $250
