Just bought my laptop a week ago (Samsung ATIV Book 4) and it has an Intel HD 4000 graphics card. Everything was working perfectly fine until I upgraded to Windows 8.1 yesterday and then after a restart my laptops screen got really dim and I couldnt adjust it. The only way I can get my brightness to be adjustable it to use the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.
Are there any fixes to this problem? I tried going under power plan, etc and nothing worked. I re-installed the Intel driver and instead of dim, the screen got really bright and I couldn't adjust it This problem is extremely annoying lol.
