Asus is quite good with memory. I've had mostly Asus boards for almost 20 years now, and I have never had issues with memory. You should be good with anything but the cheapest modules. The cheapest modules frequently cause issues with any board.

The Tridents are fine and will work well with your rig, and Intel now certifies 1.6 and 1.65 sticks, 1.5 is aimed at stock CPU and 1600 max DRAM
