I'm going to be upgrading from my 32" tv by the end of the month and have been told to go with the LG IPS234V, as it fits with how much I want to spend. Has anybody had any experience with this monitor and is it a good monitor to go with, I will be mainly gaming on FPS and action games? I've found it for £114.99, and I don't really want to spend much more than that, so is this a good choice?

All information is welcomed :)

I've watched a couple and it seems like a great monitor but I was just trying to get a someone's opinion who's used it before. Also do you think the input lag is good?

I've seen that video before, and it does look great :)  would you recommend it for gaming at the £114.99 price point?

Yea, LG is one of the most reputable manufacturers for making displays/TVs. You are in the right direction. :)

Ok man thanks for the info, I was thinking about putting my 32" on the wall above my new monitor and using it for tv, Xbox and also as a second monitor for YouTube and other social media whilst gaming on my new 23" :D

Hi
probably too late to tell you - but -
- I bought one of these 4 months ago. Great picture quality - BUT - This model (not sure about others) has a tendency for the screen to dim slightly and then go back to normal intermittently. I believe its something to do with energy saving - but is b@&$£ annoying. I have even sent it back to be serviced and ut came back the same! Most of the time I hardly notice it - but when gaming or doing photo work it is very annoying. If you go onto Amazon (UK) and look at reviews you will see it is a common problem. Hope this helps and you haven't bought it yet. I am going back to my old Samsung monitor.
