I have tried for three days to install .NET Framework 4 on my HP Pavillion Computer with XP Pro software. I can get it to download to the computer but there are several updates that will not install. I have tried severl things and nothing is working.
Have you already installed Service Packs ? ( IIRC .net 4 requires Service pack 3 is installed already on XP ) If you do not have the service packs installed then you will need to install them first and then try install .net again.
