Hi all, I'm new to this and would like to put together a sub $700 build (with OS, after taxes/shipping/etc). I have all the peripherals and don't need an optical drive.

I've been playing with pcparkpicker and scouring forums for the last week or so, but I'm not sure if I'm on the right track. Everything I have been toying with thus far has been built around the AMD FX-6300 and either an R9 270x or Geforce GTX 760.

I'm a bit lost on the nuances of motherboards and whether I'll run into compatibility/performance issues with some of the lower priced options out there.

Here's what I've come up with. Am I skimping too much?

Thanks in advance. I know you guys field tons of these types of questions every week.

Solution
Looks pretty solid. FX 6300 and R9 270X is a good combo at that range.
Personally i would side with XFX Core Pro 550W, but that is $20 more expensive.
