My Acer Aspire 5250-0810 says Windows failed to start. unfortunately I bought it from RAC so I do not have the Windows install

Nobody gets a Windows install disc with a factory-built PC or laptop these days. A backup of Windows is on a hidden partition on the drive, including all the required device drivers.
Restart your laptop and immediately press and hold the ALT and F10 keys together for Factory Recovery.
Bear in mind that Factory Recovery wipes the C partition and restores a new copy of Windows. This means that any data files you haven't backed up will be lost. For this reason, Factory Recovery should only be a last resort when nothing else will fix the problem.
After Factory Recovery has completed, you will also have to re-install any applications that were not pre-installed when the laptop left the factory.
