Monitor no signal now

Okay well I don't know what's going on with my monitor.

I was in the display settings for my monitor, I changed one thing ( can't remember what it was obviously ) and now my monitor has no signal when using latest nvidia drivers with my graphics card. Right now I'm typing this with my graphics card taken out and using onboard graphics with DVI.

With the graphics card IN, with the drivers -- no signal. With the graphics card IN, withOUT the drivers -- gets signal.

It doesn't make sense to me and I have no system restore points to before this was happening.

Any help

Try to find an older driver for your graphics card online. It may be a bad driver

I don't understand why though, I was using my PC just fine with the same exact drivers installed earlier today, I changed a setting on my monitor and then instantly went to No Signal and now WITH the same drivers, no signal.

Oh btw does your graphics card fan speed increase when you get the no signal on the monitor?

No, everything seems normal, it just goes black. I'm going to try and install an older driver to see if that does anything.

I would guess that you have selected a resolution that ur monitor doesn't support. Try booting into safe mode and selecting a resolution that ur monitor does support.

nvm then i have a different problem then, cuz my monitor goes to no signal has soon as it boots up, I have a feeling its my motherboard. so im trying to find one on ebay.

I already tried booting into safe mode and switching the resolution to my native one (1920x1080). Still no signal, I can boot into safe mode, bios, etc. But after booting up and right after the Windows logo (Starting Windows...) it goes to no signal.

Even now im on my laptop, I press the power button on my desktop and i only here the Graphics card fan running and the monitor is just on sleep mode. I know its not my graphics card cuz i tried the same card on my brothers computer and it was fine for him and i tried his on my computer and it was still doing it.

Well upon installing an older nvidia driver from back in November, my monitor has regained signal and works with my GPU again. Friggin' drivers.
