First off: I am not overclocking at all.

I have just upgraded to a Samsung 840 EVO SSD as my primary drive, I replaced a old mechanical drive with it and with the new drive I upgraded from Win7 to Win8. Problem is everytime I try to put the system under any kind of load it shuts itself down without notice. Screen just goes black and the system shuts off. My system temps all run below 50 degrees C and I have been closing monitoring them with speedfan since this problem started. All the voltages are normal when listed in the BIOS. I am running Memtest86+ right now and I will post the results when it is complete.

Is there a tool for SSD's that is like memtest where it will test the drive?

Here is my system:
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T (running stock)
16 GB Corsair ram (running stock)
AMD Radion 6970
ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3 AMD 890GX

EDIT:: Memtest reported no errors in my memory.

Solution
Figured it out, there was a SATA cable blocking the fan on my graphics card and kept it from spinning. For some reason it was not reporting in Speedfan. Will be finding a new monitoring program.
