I'm trying to get 2-way SLI going for my rig, but whenever I plug in another GPU (it's the same exact card as the one already in here) my monitor isn't able to pick up any signal. Works just fine with one card, but with two there's no signal no matter what port I plug the monitor into. Any ideas on why this is?

Here's my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Inglorious89/saved/3edJ

You're plugging an SLI bridge on top of the cards, right? Cuz if not, that's your issue.

EDIT: Also, you might well be stressing your PSU too much; check that all power cables are plugged in, turn the system on, and watch what happens - do the fans rev up and then stop?

Alright so, I wanted to see if I got the same effect with the 2nd card installed but unpowered. I did, but I decided to power it up to see if the fans were going to spin at a good speed or if my PSU was too undepowered. Much to my surprise, the monitor actually picked up on a signal. I got SLI working now that I can actually see my desktop, but there's one thing odd that's happening: I get no ASRock or Windows when I turn on my computer. It just goes to the desktop. Not the worse thing, but if I need to toy around with the BIOS this could be a problem. Any idea what could be causing this?

...you realize that if the second card isn't powered, you really don't have SLI, right?

Also, you didn't answer my question - do you have an SLI bridge installed? Because that would cause the issues you're having.

I don't think I made myself clear. I got SLI working; the bridge is installed, the 2nd card is powered, and I got SLI working with the Geforce Control Panel. The only issue I'm having is the lack of splash screens when I first start up my PC.

Ahh, okay, sorry. Bit of a miss on your end and a bit of a miss on mine.

If you press the button to get into your BIOS (Most likely either f10, f12, or delete), are you still able to get an image up on the screen while you're in the bios? It could just be an issue of it taking a while to stretch and get warmed up, so to speak.
