I have an older Dell 1100 laptop with an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller. I would like to find a driver for WINDOWS7. I have looked and cant find one. Even a generic XPDM would be ok. The laptop with load Win7 but without a driver for Win7, all I get is a 6"x 6" picture. The driver will give the display a full size 15" view.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The first time I loaded Windows 7 on this computer, I only got a vary small screen about 6 x 7 inches. I wiped the drive and reloaded Windows 7 again and this time I got a full 15 inch screen, but the clarity of the screen isn't what it should be. Programs look ok and some sites are ok but things like pictures and some background features are off. Colors are kind of cartoony?...not clear like normal. The computer SEEMS to run ok except for the graphics display. Isnt there a generic driver out there? Would a Vista driver work? The Win7 I am using is 32 bit. Can I use a Win XP driver? The resolution is set at 768 x 1024, 256 colors. using other settings like 640 x 480 256 colors, 640 x 480 high colors, or 640 x 480 16 colors all with the default refresh are terrible. When I loaded Win7, it changed the adapter type to standard VGA graphics adapter. When I run a driver upate, nothing changes. Says everything is ok.
