Hello I have recently bought a Nvidia GTX 650 Ti SSC Graphics card.. I have bought the appropriate psu for it also. It requires 400w minimum and That's what psu I bought. I'm sure I Have everything connected right from the psu to everything else. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to plug a 6 - pin connector to the graphics card. But When I do that I get no signal (I am using a mini hdmi to hdmi from the graphics card to the monitor when I plug in the 6 pin connector) When i plug the 6 pin connector to the graphics card it seems to be running and the fans are spinning but there is simply no display. The only way to get back on the computer is to unplug the 6 pin connector and use hdmi on the default plug-ins on the back. I try to install drivers for the graphics card but Windows 8 Will not detect it. Oh and when I have the 6 pin uplugged the graphics card seems to be running but the fans are faster. I've tried connecting into the graphics card with the 6pin unplugged but still nothing. I've tried disabling fast boot and that didn't seem to work. Here's more info about my graphics card and computer------- computer: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Gateway-DX4380G-UW308-Small-Form-Factor-Desktop-PC-with-AMD-A6-5400K-Processor-6GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-8-Monitor-Not-Included/21777760

Its before your computer ever boots to windows 8, when your computer first powers on a gateway logo will show up and you will have an option to enter bios (usually esc, delete, or f10). Then you will need to find a tab for peripherals, pci, or display (you just have to explore the tabs untill you find an option to make your primary display your new gpu).

Is it showing up in your control panel on windows 8?

I still do not see it, I see PCIE but that's already enabled I dont even have any of those tabs. And no I do not see it in control panel. Note I am running of the default plugins while the graphics card is plugged but not the 6 pin into the graphics card..
