I have the GA-Z87X-UD3H motherboard and the Intel 320 SSD. The BIOS see's it but windows install doesn't. If I put it in a win 7 pc it picks it up as a disk just fine. What am I doing wrong? I would like this as my master drive.

There are two Sata Chipsets ont here. Might want to go and download the drivers for your version of windows 7 on the Gigabyte site and put them on a thumb drive. Then when you get to the screen with the harddrives click on the link to install device drivers and try loading the Marvell 88SE9172 drives first. Don't think those drivers are built into windows 7 since it didn't exist back then. Intel has used the same drivers for pretty much the past few years for their sata stuff so thats why you may see the HDD

I did have to not only download the intel drivers but update firmware as well.
